AROUND THE HOUSE

I would like to present some ideas to practice rooms in the house vocabulary with young learners. They can be used with both small and big grups of students. They are proper for groups where students have different level of language skills as well.

ZOO ANIMALS RESOURCES

Try printable resources from the Teacher's Zone website to teach vocabulary for zoo animals. You can find here zoo animals flashcards with labels and phonetic transcription or zoo animals pictures without labels. You can use printable worksheets to practise zoo animals vocabulary as well.

MY FAVOURITE FLASHCARDS ACTIVITIES

I would like to share with you some flashcards vocabulary activities that I often use to introduce, practice or revise lexical sets. For my primary students it is the best way to recognize and memorize new words. These activites are possible to use even in big classes, involve a whole group, are easy to prepare (the only thing you need is a set of pictures that represent vocabulary you would like to teach)and children have a great fun.

FORMS AND CAUSES OF DYSLEXIA

About 10% of students have specific learning disabilities that should be taken into considaration during organisation of teaching process. They are not all the same, they have to cope with different difficulties - with reading (dyslexia), handwriting (dysgraphia), spelling (dysortographia), counting (dyscalculia), music (dysmusia) or mixed disorder of scholastic skills.
